SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On May 10, 2017, at approximately 1815 hours, State Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the area of Main Road and Vermont Route 22A in the Town of West Haven, Vermont. Initial investigation revealed that Operator #1 (Nicholson) pulled out from the stop sign at the intersection of Main Road and VT Route 22A in front of Operator #2 (Monnin) in the northbound lane. Operator #2 (Monnin) was unable to stop her vehicle before colliding into the rear of Operator #1 (Nicholson).  Both vehicles were forced into the ditch on the east side of the road as a result of the impact.

The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Fair Haven Police Department and the West Haven Fire Department.
