VIOLATION: Speed and DUI #2

ACCUSED: Sean Devoid
AGE: 35
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Middlebury VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 05/23/17 at approximately 1910 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a motorcycle traveling southbound on US Route 7 in the Town of New Haven exceeding the posted 50 mph speed limit, a violation of Title 23 VSA 1081 (b).

Upon speaking with the operator, identified as Sean Devoid, Troopers could smell an odor of intoxicants emitting from his person. Further investigation found that he had been drinking alcoholic beverages prior to the stop. Devoid was subsequently screened and then placed under arrest for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, DUI #2.

Devoid was transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing and later released on a citation.
