SUMMARY OF CRASH:  Troopers with the Middlesex Barracks were alerted by 911 of a single vehicle roll over, on Vermont Route 12 in Worcester, Vermont.  The car was reported to be off the roadway.  When I arrived, I found 75-year-old Audrey Richardson entrapped in the vehicle.  The Worcester Fire Department and Montpelier Fire Department were on scene extracting Richardson.  After speaking with the driver and assessing the scene, it was determined that Richardson had fainted or fallen asleep behind the wheel. Richardson was transported to CVMC for unknown injuries by the Montpelier Fire Department. The primary cause of the crash is Richardson failed to maintain her lane of travel, in violation of 23 VSA 1038.
