SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, State Police responded to the area of 208 Warren Mountain Rd, in Roxbury, for a report a minor single vehicle crash.  The operator, Chamberlin, left the scene of the crash before State Police arrived.  Troopers located Chamberlin's vehicle traveling north on VT Rt 12A and Chamberlin failed to stop when a Trooper activated his blue lights.  Chamberlin lead police on an eleven mile pursuit through the back roads of Northfield.  The Northfield Police Department assisted by deploying spike  trips.  Chamberlin's vehicle travelled another mile with two flat tires before coming to a stop.  He then fled on foot for a short distance and resisted arrest when Troopers and Officers attempted to take him into custody.  Troopers learned from the investigation that Chamberlin was violating his conditions of release by being out pass his curfew.

 

Chamberlin was arrested and transported to the State Police Barracks in Middlesex for processing.  He is being charged with DUI, Attempting to Elude, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Negligent Operation, Excessive Speed, Violation of Conditions of Release and Resisting Arrest.  Chamberlin is being held at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility on $5000.00 bail.  He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court - Criminal Division on 05/30/17
