SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On February 20th, 2017, the Vermont State Police Middlesex Barracks began a burglary investigation in the Town of East Montpelier, Vermont.  During the burglary, antiques and antique furniture were stolen.  The stolen property has not yet been recovered.  23-year-old Shane A. Safford Jr. of Barre, Vermont was subsequently arrested and released with a citation to appear at the Washington County Superior Court House.
