SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 5/5/2017, at approximately 0031 hours, Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash with ejection. When troopers arrived they found a male on the ground approximately 20 feet away from the vehicle with a head injury. The operator was identified as Wayne Broe by witnesses on scene. Broe was taken to North Country Hospital due to his injuries. Observations made at the scene show the vehicle was traveling northwest on Messier Farm Rd in the town of Coventry when it went off the northeast side of the roadway and was then brought back onto the road quickly causing the vehicle to ‘flip’ multiple times. The crash investigation is on-going but speed and alcohol appear to be factors.
