SUMMARY OF CRASH: 

 

On 5/18/2017 at approximately 0530 hours, State Police responded to a report of a 1 vehicle crash on Leadville Road in the town of Newport Center, VT. The operator was identified as Brendan Curtis, who advised he had fallen asleep while traveling home. While speaking with Curtis, State Police detected the strong odor of intoxicants emitting from Curtis. Curtis completed Standard Field Sobriety Tests and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Curtis was not injured in the crash.
