SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 5/10/17 at approximately 1900 hours, VSP-Derby Troopers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Barton.  Upon arrival, troopers learned Joseph Clark had assaulted a female victim there, resulting in her being thrown off a porch and onto the ground.  Clark then left in a vehicle.  Clark’s privilege to operate a vehicle was found to be criminally suspended for multiple items.  He was also found not to have been issued an adult operator’s license.

Subsequent investigation revealed prior to and after the incident, Clark had operated a motor vehicle to and from the location, traveling on Rte 14N in Albany.  Clark was eventually located at a residence in Barton and arrested for suspicion of domestic assault and operating with a criminally suspended license.

Clark was processed at the VSP-Derby Barracks and lodged at the Northern State Correctional Facility on $1,000.00 bail.
