SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:


On 5/16/17 at approximately 2005 hours, VSP-Derby Troopers on patrol in the Town of Morgan stopped a vehicle for speeding and displaying an expired inspection sticker on Rte 111 near the Country Store.  Subsequent interview and DMV record checks revealed the operator, Dalton Morgan, was currently operating after suspension of license, and had multiple prior instances of operating after suspension.  The vehicle was also found not to be insured.

 

Morgan was placed under arrest for suspicion of DLS-Criminal and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.  He was released with a citation to appear in Orleans District Court on 7/11/17.  The vehicle was grounded.
