SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 5/21/2017, at approximately 0800 hours, Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash with injuries on Interstate 91 South

in the town of Lyndon, VT near mile marker 140. While heading south the operator became distracted because of her child in the back seat and the vehicle left the roadway to the right hand side causing the vehicle to hit a guard rail. The vehicle had substantial damage to the front end, hood, and driver's side and had to be towed from the scene. The operator, Heather Batchelder (43) sustained no injuries. One minor, SB (6), was transported to Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained in the crash.
