SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On April 22nd, 2017 at approximately 0027 hours, Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 89 in the city of South Burlington after observing a motor vehicle violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Scharie M. Abdel-Mawgood, 46 of Stowe. Abdel-Mawgood was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Williston Barracks where she was processed for DUI. Absel-Mawgood was processed and released on a citation to answer to the charge of DUI.
