VIOLATION: Speeding, Attempting to Elude.

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Weedon, Quebec


SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

At the above date and time, State Police observed a vehicle traveling above the
posted speed limit on Interstate 91 North Bound, near mile marker 133.and
attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on a white 2013 Dodge Caravan, being
operated by the Jean Leroux (76), of Weedon, Quebec. 


After a long pursuit of approximately 28 miles, the vehicle was eventually
stopped by spike strips on Interstate 91 North Bound, near mile marker 161.


Leroux was brought to the Derby Barracks, processed, and given a citation to
answer the above charges in Caledonia Criminal Court, in St. Johnsbury, VT, on
05/20/17 at 0830 hours.
