SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

On April 09, 2017, at approximately 1800 hours, Vermont State Troopers assigned to the Rutland Barracks were notified of an identity theft complaint. The victim received an outstanding bill in excess of $4000.00 from a credit card company she never applied for. With the assistance of Citi Bank Fraud Department it was learned John Ennis was the applicant. Ennis had submitted the application without Shaw’s permission, and subsequently charged in excess of $4,000.00 to the card. Ennis subsequently cited and released to appear before the Rutland County Superior Court on June 06, 2017.
