1.)    DUI Refusal (Title 23 VSA 1201)

2.)    Possession of a Narcotic, Depressant, Stimulant (Title 18 VSA 4234)

 

ACCUSED:  Samantha Foley                                               

AGE: 28

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Middletown Springs, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On April 07,2017, at approximately 1630 hours, Vermont State Troopers assigned to the Rutland Barracks initiated a motor vehicle stop on Morse Hollow Road, Poultney, Vermont, for a speeding violation. The vehicle stopped was also identified as being involved with an ongoing investigation.  The operator of the vehicle was identified as Samantha Foley (DOB 09/18/1988).  

 

While speaking to Foley she displayed signs of impairment, and was subsequently screened for DUI. Foley refused to provide a preliminary breath sample, and was custody for suspicion of DUI-Drug. At this time Foley was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Foley was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Criminal Court for the charge of DUI Refusal, and Possession of a Narcotic, Depressant, Stimulant.
