AMBER ALERT

 

On Wednesday April 26th, 2017 at approximately 1235 hours John SMITH (32) contacted the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks advising his son, Jacob SMITH (5), had just been abducted by his non-custodial mother while they were playing at Blanchard Park in France, VT.   SMITH identified the non-custodial mother as Jane DOE (29) and described her as being in the midst of a “manic” episode.  Vermont State Police are concerned for the well-being of both Jacob Smith and Jane Doe in this incident, as Doe has indicated to family a wish to be with her son in the after-life. 

 

Doe is believed to be operating a blue Toyota Corolla with Vermont license plate “ABC123”, heading east on Main Street in France, VT.

 

Jacob SMITH is described as a white male, 3’3” tall, 42 lbs, with brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue and green striped long-sleeve shirt, brown pants and red shoes.

 

 

DOE, a white female, 5’5” tall, 140 lbs, with long brown hair and green eyes, was described as wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans, red sandals and brown sunglasses.  DOE was reported to be operating 2014 blue Toyota Corolla bearing VT registration “ABC1234” and was last seen traveling east on Main Street in France at approximately 1230 hours. 

 

 

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to immediately call 911 or contact the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993.
