SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

                On the above date and time, State Police were notified by U.S. Customs and Border Protection of a possibly intoxicated operator located in the area of Beebe Road, Derby, VT.  Upon arrival, the male operator was identified as Cody Chase.  Upon speaking with Chase, a strong odor of intoxicants was detected emitting from his person.   Chase performed Standard Field Sobriety Exercises and did not give consent for a Preliminary Breath Test.  Chase was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the State Police Barracks in Derby for processing.
