INCIDENT LOCATION: Border Motel and Lounge, Derby

VIOLATION: DUI #2

 

ACCUSED: William O’Keefe                                               

AGE: 49

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Island Pond, VT

 

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, VSP-Derby Troopers were summoned to the Border Lounge on Rte 5 in Derby, for a report of a suspicious vehicle with two possibly intoxicated occupants.  Upon arrival, Troopers encountered O’Keefe and two other subjects in a vehicle in the parking lot.

 

Subsequent investigation indicated O’Keefe had operated a vehicle to the Border Lounge while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.  He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and processed at Newport PD.  O’Keefe was released with a citation to appear in court on 05/09/17, to answer to the charge of DUI #2.  O’Keefe refused to provide a PBT.
