During the early morning hours of April 28, 2017, members of the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop along North Main Street, Rutland City for an observed traffic violation. The operator was identified as Timothy Earl Edwards, 29, of Middlebury, VT. Further investigation revealed that Edwards was in violation of his conditions of release, as well as had an active warrant. Edwards was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town for processing. Edwards was then lodged Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
