During the evening hours of April 2, 2017, members of the Vermont State Police were conducting traffic enforcement along the Killington Access Road in Killington, Vermont. At approximately 2308 hours, Troopers stopped a vehicle on Roaring Brook Road for an observed traffic violation. The operator was identified as Zachary B. Pehm, 27, of Killinton, VT. Further investigation revealed that Pehm was under the influence of intoxicants. Pehm was screened for DUI. Pehm provided a preliminary sample of his breath which was measured as 0.085% BrAC. Pehm was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town for processing. Pehm was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on April 17th, 2017 at 0830 hours, to answer to the charge of DUI.
