SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On March 12, 2017, at 0913 hours, the Vermont State Police were notified of a single vehicle crash with a power pole in Danville, VT on U.S Route 2 near Windy Acres Rd. Upon arrival, the vehicle was off the Northside of the roadway. Investigation revealed Vehicle 1, heading east on U.S Route 2, crossed the center line and collided with a power pole. Operator Jodi Billow (35), of Greensboro Bend, VT failed to maintain her lane of travel and suffered minor injuries. Billow was transported to Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital for evaluation. Vehicle 1 sustained major damage to its front end and was totaled.  Billow was ticketed for a violation of Title 23 VSA 1038, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
