SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On March 2, 2017, at 0817 hours, the Vermont State Police were notified of a single vehicle crash in Danville, VT on U.S Rt. 2 near Point Comfort Road.  Upon arrival, the vehicle was on its side off of the South shoulder of the roadway. Investigation revealed Vehicle 1 heading East on Route 2 hit a patch of ice and Peterson left the traveled portion of the roadway. Peterson suffered minor injuries and was transported by Danville rescue for evaluation. Vehicle 1 was totaled. Peterson was wearing his seatbelt and airbags did not deploy.
