Traffic alert – Lane closure, I89 south in Williamston

Press Release – Highway / Traffic Notification

 

The left lane of Interstate 89 south, near mile-marker 44 is blocked due to a jack-knifed tractor-trailer. This is in Williamstown, between exits 6 and 5.

 

A tow truck is on-scene now and working to reopen the lane as quickly and as safely as possible.  Vermont DMV Inspectors are also assisting. Specific details are not yet available and updates will be provided as appropriate.

 

Motorists should expect delays in the area, or seek alternate routes. Please drive carefully.
