SUMMARY OF CRASH: On the attached date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police St.Johnsbury Barracks were notified of a single vehicle crash with the vehicle possibly being on fire on Lily Pond Rd, in the town of Lyndon, VT. Vermont State Police, along with Lyndonville Fire Department and EMS responded. Upon investigation, it was determined that the operator Webster left the roadway for unknown reasons, traveled down an embankment before striking trees, resulting in the vehicle rolling on its side and catching on fire. Webster was able to extricate himself from the vehicle and suffered minor injuries during the crash and was transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital for further evaluation. After speaking with Webster, it was determined that alcohol was a factor in this crash. Webster provided a preliminary sample of his breath which revealed a BrAC of .207%. Webster was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County court for DUI #2 and a VCVC for a violation of Title 23 VSA 1038, driving on roadways laned for traffic. This crash is currently under investigation and any witnesses are asked to contact Trooper Ross at
