INCIDENT LOCATION: U.S. Route 7, near Exit 18, in Georgia, VT.

VIOLATION: Driving While License Suspended.

 

ACCUSED: Steven Gaboury                                             

AGE: 49

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Swanton, VT.

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On March 27, 2017 at approximately 0106 hours the Vermont

State Police were conducting motor vehicle patrol on U. S. Route 7 in Georgia,

Vermont. The Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a silver

2001 Pontiac Grand Prix for a traffic violation. The operator of the motor

vehicle, Steven Gaboury, 49, of Swanton, VT, was required to have an ignition

interlock device in any motor vehicle that he operates. Investigation revealed

that the Pontiac Grand Prix was not equipped with an ignition interlock device. The registration plates on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle. The registration plates were seized and J and L's Auto Service towed the vehicle. Gaboury was released on a citation to appear in the Franklin County Superior Court on April 24, 2017 at 1300 hours.
