ACCUSED:  Richard Reynolds

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Poultney, Vermont

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On March 30, 2017 at approximately 1440 hours, Troopers at the Rutland Barracks were notified of a single vehicle crash on VT Route 30, in the Town of Sudbury. The complainant advised the vehicle kept driving, and was travelling south on VT Route 30. Officers from the Castleton Police Department stopped the vehicle in Castleton.  Upon arrival, the operator was identified as Richard Reynolds of Poultney, Vermont. Reynolds displayed signs of intoxication and was screened for DUI. Reynolds provided a preliminary sample of his breath resulting in a 0.137 BrAC.  Reynolds was subsequently arrested, processed, and released on citation to appear at the Rutland Vermont Superior Court at a later date.
