SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 3/18/17 Vermont State Police were called to a 3 vehicle collision on I91

north in the area of MM 64.  Investigation found that a rear tire / rim fell off

of a vehicle driven by Terry Russ.  This tire and rim struck a vehicle directly

behind Russ operated by Thomas Beney.  The tire and rim then went into the

passing lane where it struck a vehicle driven by Renee Plante.  Plante's vehicle

spun out from the collision and struck the guardrails before stopping in the

center of I 91 north.  I 91 north traffic was stopped for approximately 30

minutes while vehicles were removed from the roadway.  Plante suffered minor

injuries in the collision, no other operator's were injured.  Hartland Fire and

Windsor ambulance assisted with the crash.
