SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 03/09/17 at approximately 1053 hours the Vermont State Police, Guilford Fire Department, and Rescue Inc. were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on US5 in the town of Guilford.  Investigation revealed that OP#1 had been traveling north on US5 at approximately 40MPH when she fell asleep.  V1 went off the east side of the roadway, traveled through a field, struck a dirt embankment and a tree before flipping over onto its driver’s side in a brook.  Local residents rushed to the aid of OP#1 and assisted with extricating her from V1 prior to the arrival of emergency services.  OP#1 was transported to BMH by Rescue Inc. where she was found to have suffered no injuries as a result of the crash.  Demco Towing righted V1 and removed it from the scene.
