SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 03/02/17 at approximately 0645 hours the Vermont State Police, Westminster Fire Department, Golden Cross Ambulance, and Rescue Inc. were dispatched to what was reported as a two vehicle crash on I91 in the area of MM23.  Investigation revealed that V1, a U-Haul moving van towing a passenger vehicle on a dolly, had been traveling south on I91 in the area of MM23/80 when the vehicle began to sway.  OP#1 lost control of V1 and the towed vehicle, causing the combination vehicle to jackknife and enter the median.  Heather Herbert (age 58 of Claremont, NH), a passenger in V1 was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital by Golden Cross as a precautionary measure due to a prior neck injury.  She was examined and found to not be injured as a result of the crash.  V1 sustained minor damage to its driver’s side as a result of the jackknifing with the towed vehicle, which also sustained minor driver’s side damage.  Affordable Towing responded to pull V1 out of the median, remove the damaged tow dolly, and the towed vehicle from the interstate.  No tickets issued.
