ACCUSED:  Patrick A. Gibbons

VICTIM: (The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of

sexual assault or domestic violence.)  Anthony J. Gibbons

AGE:  38

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Hoosick Falls, New York

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 03/03/17 the Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury received a call from Anthony J. Gibbons.  Gibbons reported he recently learned through DMV his license had gone under suspension for a speeding ticket he allegedly received on 10/15/16 in the Town of Sunderland, VT.  Gibbons reported he had not been driving at the time of the offense.  Investigation determined Patrick A. Gibbons intentionally provided his cousin’s (Anthony J. Gibbons) name and date of birth when police asked for identification at the time of the motor vehicle stop on 10/15/16. 

 

It was determined Patrick Gibbons license was under criminal suspension at the time of the motor vehicle stop.  Police made contact with Patrick Gibbons on 03/04/17.  Patrick Gibbons was issued a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Bennington Unit, on 04/17/17 to answer to the above charges.
