VIOLATION:  Title 23 VSA 1128:  Accidents Duty to Stop

 

ACCUSED:  Jennifer N. Wilcox                                             

AGE:  33

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Brattleboro,  VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 03/02/17 at approximately 1033 hours the Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and telephone pole on VT RT 9 in Woodford.  As police were in route to the scene it was reported the operator left and was traveling west on VT RT 9.  A short while later police located the vehicle traveling west.  Police stopped the vehicle on VT RT 9 in the vicinity of Harbor Road.  The operator was identified as Jennifer N. Wilcox.  Wilcox’s driver’s license was determined to be civilly suspended.  The vehicle was identified as a 2004 Chryser Sebring.  Wilcox’s vehicle had minor front end damage.  The telephone pole also had minor damage.  Wilcox was charged with the above violation and issued a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Bennington Unit on 04/10/17.  Wilcox’s vehicle was towed by Brigg’s Automotive out of Jacksonville, VT.
