SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On March 08, 2017 at approximately 0116 hours, Vermont State Police-Rutland received a 911 call from a residence on Summit Road in the Town of Mt. Holly.

 

While enroute, Troopers learned Patrick D. Neher had broken into the residence, attempted to cause caused serious bodily injury to a resident, and had driven his truck into the residence’s attached porch. The victim denied medical attention. After a brief search, Neher was located and taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland Town.

 

Neher was later lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility. He is scheduled to be arraigned at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division on March 13, 2017 at 1230 hours for the charge(s) of Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Unlawful Mischief.
