SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

 

On March 11th  2017 at 0215 hours, State Police were notified of a two car motor vehicle crash on Vermont Route 100 near Vermont Route 100B in Moretown, Vermont. Investigation revealed Vehicle #1 was operated by Thomas B. Devine of Moretown, Vermont and vehicle #2 was being operated by Ryan Salerno of Granville, Vermont. Salerno was turning left onto Vermont Route 100 when Devine collided with his passenger side rear bumper. Devine swerved and left the north bound travel lane of the roadway rolling his vehicle onto its side. Vehicle #1 had front bumper damage and passenger side damage as a result of the crash. Vehicle #2 had damage to the passenger side rear bumper. Vehicle #1 was towed from the scene. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Devine declined to provide a preliminary breath sample. Devine was taken to Middlesex State Police Barracks for processing. Devine was cited to appear in Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division on 03/30/17.
