SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On March 11, 2017, at approximately 2239 hours, State Police were notified of a two-vehicle collision on Route 7 in the Town of Salisbury. Upon arrival, Operator #1 was identified as Gail Grant and Operator #2 was identified as Steven Amaru. Investigation revealed that both vehicles were traveling north on US Route 7 when Operator #2 (Amaru) pulled over to the shoulder to allow Operator #1 (Grant) to pass. However, Operator #1 passed Vehicle #2 on the right side and while doing so struck Vehicle #2 causing damage. The force of this collision caused Vehicle #1 to go off the right side of the roadway and then collided with a fence and multiple trees. Operator #1 sustained minor scrapes and Operator #2 sustained no injuries as a result from the collision. Both vehicles were later towed from the scene.
