SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 03/03/17, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks were dispatched to US Route 91 and US Route 89 in the Hartford area for several incidents involving motor vehicles driving off the road. The Troopers responded to ten incidents in total along with Hartford Fire and Rescue who assisted at some of the scenes as well. The crashes occurred from approximately 1800 hours to 1930 hours on US Route 91 and US Route 89 northbound and southbound in the towns of Hartford, Hartland and Sharon. The slippery road surface from the falling snow contributed to the vehicles driving off the road as well as operators driving too fast for the given road conditions.
