SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On March 13, 2017, at approximately 0540 hrs, Vermont State Police responded to a reported single vehicle crash off VT RT 30 near the Pawlet town line.

Investigation revealed that Kristopher Prevost was driving southbound on VT RT 30 in Wells when his Ford F-150 lost traction on the roadway due to exiting a curve too fast. Prevost’s truck subsequently crossed the center line and crashed off the eastern road edge. Prevost then left the scene prior to the arrival of first responders.
