SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 3-2-17, Troopers from the Royalton Barracks attempted to stop a vehicle for a minor motor vehicle violation. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit ensued. Troopers called off the pursuit due to safety concerns. Investigation revealed that Pickett who was on furlough and required to be at his home address at the time was the operator of the vehicle. Pickett was located and taken into custody at his residence on 3-8-17 by Probation and Parole for the violation and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
