DAMAGE TO VEHICLE #1: Minor damage to driver side front and rear quarter panel.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On the evening of 2-26-17, State Police were dispatched to a report of a one vehicle roll over on Vermont Route 9 in the town of Woodford, VT. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with the operator who was identified as Mounteer (35). Investigation revealed that Mounteer was traveling east on Vermont Route 9 when her vehicle traveled over ice and she began to lose control of the vehicle. Mounteer overcorrected her vehicle and went off the south shoulder of the roadway and the vehicle came to a position of uncontrolled rest on its driver side. Mounteer and her passenger were transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. Members from the Bennington Rural Fire Department and Bennington Rescue Squad assisted at the scene. Mounteer was issued a written warning for operating too fast for road conditions.
