SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On the above date and time the Vermont State Police responded to the intersection of US Route 2 E and Hill St. in the Town of Danville for a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles. Investigation revealed Ashley Cote was driving a Jeep Liberty west bound on US Route 2 E and collided with a stopped Dodge Avenger operated by Lisa Hodgdon. The force of the collision caused Hodgdon's vehicle to collide with a stopped Cadillac Escalade operated by Donna Hovey. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Cote reported she was blinded by the setting sun just before the collision. The cause and circumstances of this crash are still under investigation.
