SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On 02/12/2017 at approximately 1825 hours the Vermont State Police affected a motor vehicle stop on US Route 7 in the town of Milton, VT after observation of dangerous and erratic operation.  The weather during this incident was heavy snow and the roadways were treacherous. 

Subsequently, the investigation yielded that the operator, 34 year-old Geoffrey Tessier of Colchester, VT, was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  Tessier was subsequent placed under arrest for DUI. 

Tessier was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.  At the conclusion of the processing Tessier was released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County District Court on 03/02/2017 at 8:30am to answer the charge of DUI (Second Offense).
