SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 02/14/17, the State Police responded to an assault and attempted theft of a
dog on Goodfellow Road in Groton. Gracie Preston reported that an individual
attempted to take her dog while it was outside her residence. She advised that
as she was trying to bring the dog inside the individual pushed her. Gracie Preston
struck a wall as a result and sustained a minor laceration.

The individual is a white male, approximately 30-35 years of age.
He is described as being six feet tall, thin build, blonde hair, and a beard.
He was wearing a blue Under Armour shirt, jeans, and Chevrolet ball cap.

The subject left the area driving a Chevrolet Silverado, black in color.
