SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On February 1, 2017, at approximately 1631 hours, State Police were advised of a singe-vehicle collision with a tree on Lake Dunmore Road in the Town of Salisbury. State Police arrived on scene and identified the operator as Samantha Carroll. Carroll advised that prior to the collision she was travelling westbound on Lake Dunmore Road at approximately 30mph. Carroll stated that as she navigated a right curve, the rear portion of her vehicle kicked out. Carroll stated that she attempted to correct, subsequently fishtailed and collided with a nearby tree. Caroll sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Carroll's vehicle was totaled as a result of the collision.


State Police were assisted on scene by The Addison Country Sheriff's Department, VT Fish & Wildlife, The Salisbury Fire Department, and Middlebury Rescue.
