SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 2/25/17 at approximately 9:30pm a section of Route 110 in Tunbridge by the
intersection of Whitney Hill Rd. was closed due to flooding. At approximately 10:30pm State Police received a call that a vehicle was stuck in the flooded section of the roadway. State Police and Tunbridge Fire Department responded and were able to tow the vehicle to safety. The female operator, Brianna Mayotte attempted to follow a Jeep through the water in her 2014 Toyota Corolla but the water level was too high and disabled her vehicle. The section of Route 110 will remain closed until the road is clear.
