SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On February 25, 2017, at approximately 1730 hours, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the Citgo gas station on North Main Street, Wallingford for a reported motor vehicle crash into the building. It was further reported that the vehicle had fled the scene after the crash.
Through investigation, it was determined that at around 1730 hours on February 25, 2017, a silver pick-up truck struck a sign pedestal which subsequently projected the sign through a large window at the gas station, shattering it. The truck was last seen fleeing East on Hull Avenue in the Town of Wallingford.
