SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On February 4th, 2017 at approximately 0919 hours, Vermont State Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The operator was identified as Raymond Baer (age 59) of Pomona, New York. Baer displayed signs of impairment throughout the course of the motor vehicle stop. Baer was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks, where he was processed for suspicion of DUI Drugs. While at the barracks, Baer was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. Baer agreed to provide an evidentiary sample of his blood. Baer was later released on citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later time and date.
