SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 

On January 21, 2017, at approximately 1700 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police- Rutland Barracks, were notified of a motor vehicle crash on East Road, Tinmouth, Vermont. During the investigation Troopers identified the operator as David Morris. Morris was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation. While speaking to Morris, he displayed signs of alcohol impairment and was screened for DUI. Morris provided a preliminary sample of his breath which was measured as 0.213% BrAC. Morris provided an evidentiary sample of his blood at the hospital. Morris was cited at a later date and he is scheduled to be arraigned on February 27, 2016 at 0830 hours at Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, in Rutland, VT.
