SUMMARY:

On 2/15/17, Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the area of Interstate 89 in Hartford for several reports of vehicles off the roadway and blocking the roadway.  Interstate 89 between junction with Interstate 91 and exit 1 northbound was closed for several hours while vehicles were pulled back onto the roadway.  Several tractor trailer units had difficulty moving on the snow covered roadway further causing delays.


All vehicles were removed and Interstate 89 northbound was opened at approximately 3pm.


There were no injuries reported in this incident.
