SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On February 15, 2017, at 1326 hours, the Vermont State Police were notified of a two vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury on Interstate 91 South near mile marker 130, just before exit 20.  Upon arrival, both vehicles and operators were present. Investigation revealed Vehicle 1, heading south on Interstate 91, attempted to go around a Tractor Trailer unit and crashed with an AOT Plow truck. Operator 1, Iby stated that he thought the plow truck was going to stop, and when he realized it was not going too he had no where else to go. Operator 2, Conlon was parked on the right hand side of the passing lane waiting for a break in traffic to enter the U-turn.  Conlon stated he saw a tractor trailer unit moving slowly and did not see any other vehicles. There were no injuries. Vehicle 1 sustained major damage to the driver side front fender area. Vehicle 2 sustained moderate damage to the driver’s side fender and hood.
