SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 02-15-17, at approximately 1400 hours, Vermont State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on Route 2 in Danville VT. Upon arrival VSP spoke with the operator of a 2017 Dodge Durango, Dale Willis. Willis said that as he was traveling east, at the intersection of Route 2 and Brainerd Rd., his vehicle was struck by the trailer of a west bound tractor trailer unit. Willis said that the tractor trailer was in his lane and attempting to pass a van that appeared to be stuck in the road. Neither the van nor the tractor trailer stopped after the collision.
