SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 02-28-17, at approximately 1627 hours, Vermont State Police and Richmond Fire/Rescue responded to a two vehicle crash on Interstate 89 south bound near mile marker 70, in the town of Bolton. Investigation revealed that Operator One was traveling southbound when she lost control of her vehicle. Vehicle One subsequently made contact with the rear end of Vehicle Two, causing it to lose control and enter the center median, where it rolled, eventually coming to rest on its roof. Both occupants of Vehicle Two were transported by Richmond Rescue to the University of Vermont Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained in the crash.  

The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
