SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 02/04/17 at approximately 2230 hours, Vermont State

Police received a Be On the Lookout (BOL) for a vehicle being operated by Daniel

Timmermans, who was reportedly intoxicated and should not be driving. Timmermans

was reported to be driving toward Manchester from Peru, VT and was traveling on

VT RT 11 to US RT 7. 

 

Vermont State Police Sergeant Robert Zink located Timmerman's vehicle on VT RT

30 in Manchester and conducted a motor vehicle stop on his vehicle in the

parking lot of the Perfect Wife. Trooper Justin Walker arrived on scene to

assist. Troopers began their investigation into whether Timmermans was under the

influence of intoxicants. Timmermans was administered Field Sobriety Exercises,

during which he showed several clues of impairment. Timmermans provided a

preliminary breath test, which showed a BAC of .173%. Timmermans was taken into

custody for DUI and transported to the Manchester Police Department to be

processed. Timmermans was later released with a citation to appear in Bennington

County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
